Accident insurance

None of us are safe from accidents. An accident may turn our lives upside down. An accident may cause a reduction or loss of working ability, which in its turn results in financial problems arising from reduced income. Should this happen to the main provider of a family, the entire family will suffer. Personal accident insurance helps to alleviate such financial problems.

Personal accident insurance provides you and your family with protection in case of a possible accident. You can sign either an individual or family insurance contract.

The insured person can either be a policyholder or a third person on behalf of whom the insurance contract is signed.

When signing a personal accident insurance contract you can choose between different indemnities.
  • In the event of temporary incapacity for work the insured person may pursuant to the insurance contract receive either a daily allowance, hospital daily allowance or punitive damages.
  • Invalidity benefit is paid if after the accident the insured person suffers a permanent mental or bodily injury, i.e. invalidity.
  • If the insured person dies as a result of an accident death benefit is paid to the successors or the beneficiary (beneficiaries) within three years after the event of the accident.
