Liability insurance

Liability insurance helps to cope with property damage accidentally caused by you or your family members to other persons, for which you are liable under the law.  
 
Liability insurance can only be taken out together with ERGO home insurance.  
 
You can choose between two different protection ranges. Narrower protection includes only liability related to the ownership or possession of a construction work. The extended third party liability insurance cover also extends to insured events that have occurred farther away from home within Estonia.  
 
Liability insurance is essentially all-risk insurance, i.e., what is not excluded in the insurance terms and conditions is protected. Therefore, before concluding an insurance contract, it is very important to familiarise yourself with the insurance terms and conditions, and especially the exclusions in them.
